Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli
Depart Nairobi in the morning for Amboseli National Park , with lunch enroute. Late afternoon arrival then proceed for a game drive in search of cheetah, rhino, elephants and various species of plains game. Dinner and overnight at the Amboseli Serena Lodge or similar.
Day 2: Amboseli
Proceed for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Enjoy a full day of game drive. A lunch and leisure break at the lodge will be followed by an evening game drive, looking out for the peak of Kilimanjaro which can be seen in clear weather. Elephants and hippos can be seen bathing in the swamp grounds which get their water from springs fed by the melting snows of Mt. Kilimanjaro . Dinner and overnight at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 3: Amboseli - Tsavo West
After breakfast depart Amboseli for Tsavo West National Park for an afternoon game drive. Lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight at the Kilanguni Serena or similar.
Day 4: Tsavo West - Nairobi
After breakfast proceed on a game drive which will include the Mzima Springs where hippos and varied fish are seen swimming in the clear waters. Lunch at the Lodge then depart for Nairobi arriving in the evening.
4 Days - Mara - Nakuru
Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel then depart for the mara game reserve .
A short stopover at the view point of the Great Rift Valley below the splendidly panoramic. Then proceed to Mara arriving at lunchtime at the Lodge. Afternoon game drive. Dinner overnight at Mara Serena or similar.
Day 2: Masai Mara
After early breakfast, proceed for a day of game tracking with your guide in this park. The landscape is savannah grassland on rolling hills, where all the big five may be seen namely; the elephant, buffalo and lion among others. Break for your leisurely picnic at the hippo pool. Return to your lodge in early evening for dinner and overnight stay at Mara Serena or similar.
Day 3: Masai Mara - Nakuru
Early morning pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, depart the Mara region for Nakuru, with lunch enroute and scenic views of Mt. Longonot and Lake Naivasha from afar on the main highway. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or similar.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Nairobi
After breakfast proceed on a game drive in the nearby Lake Nakuru National Park which has prolific birdlife comprising flamingos, white pelicans and marabou stork, all water birds that breed in the lake's alkaline waters. White rhino and Rothschild's giraffe may be seen while Cape buffalo and waterbuck are common on the lakeshore. Time permitting, the baboon cliff and Makalia falls are additional attractions. After lunch, depart for Nairobi , arriving in the evening. Drop off at place of choice.
4 Days – Nakuru - Samburu
Day 1: Nairobi - Nakuru
In the morning you will be met and briefed, followed by departure for Nakuru, stopping at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley . Arrive in time for lunch at your Lodge. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru lodge or similar.
Day 2: Lake Nakuru - Samburu
After breakfast proceed on a game drive within Lake Nakuru National Park to view flamingos, other water birds and various species of plains game with excellent chances of spotting the white rhino as the park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of this rare animal which is an endangered species. Depart for Samburu Game Reserve via the Thompson falls and Nanyuki town for lunch, game drive enroute. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge or similar.
Day 3: Samburu
Morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu with a lunch and leisure break at the lodge in the mid afternoon. Samburu is north of the equator and contains rare, drought resistant animal species which go for long periods of time without water. These include the reticulated giraffe, grevy's zebra, the blue Shanked Somali ostrich, the gerenuk or giraffe gazelle and the beisa oryx. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge or similar.
Day 4: Samburu - Nairobi
Early morning pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, depart for Nairobi with lunch enroute. In clear weather the peak of Mt. Kenya may be seen while on the drive back you by-pass very pleasant countryside with coffee and tea plantations. Arrive in the evening. Drop off at place of choice.
