This classic safari is the perfect opportunity to observe most of Kenya's scenic highlights, including the Rift Valley Lakes and views of Mount Kilimanjaro's snowy peaks. The safari then ends in the Mombasa with its stunning sandy beaches, warm Oceans and many fascinating islands to explore.
Day 01: Nairobi You are met on arrival and transferred to the Stanley Hotel (or similar) with the famous Thorn Tree restaurant. Arrangements are for bed and breakfast or similar.
Day 02: Nairobi - Masai Mara Game Reserve Leave Nairobi after breakfast, and drive through farming country and up through the Great Rift Valley escarpment to the Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch. This Reserve is one of Africa 's best known wildlife areas. Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Giraffe, Topi, Gazelle are all in abundanceproviding some of the most spectacular photography ever seen. Afternoon game drive followed by dinner and overnight at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge or similar.
Day 03 - 04: Masai Mara Game Reserve Enjoy two full days of Game spotting! Early morning and afternoon game drives with picnic lunch in the bush. Overnight at Mara Serena or similar. Day 05: Masai Mara Game Reserve - Lake Nakuru After breakfast drive across the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park . Lake Nakuru is a soda lake often frequented by thousands of Greater and Lesser Flamingos lining the shore in a pink mass. There is also a Rhino Sanctuary , and it the forests around the lake there is a variety of wildlife, especially Bushbuck and Reedbuck, Giraffe and sometimes lion and leopard, especially up on the baboon escarpment. There will be a game drive after lunch. Dinner & Overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or similar
Day 06-07: Lake Nakuru - Amboseli National Park
Morning drive back to Nairobi arriving for lunch at a city center restaurant, and continue on to Amboseli National Park . Amboseli is a real gem of a park situated right at the foot of Africa's highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro . Elephants, giraffe, cheetahs can be found around the salt licks, and giraffe, zebra and buffalo feed on the plains. The snow capped peak of Kibo makes a wonderful background for wildlife photography . Overnight at Amboseli Serena or similar. Day 08 - 10: Amboseli – Tsavo West
After an early morning game drive and breakfast, drive to Tsavo West. This park is biggest in Kenya and famous for r ecent volcanoes, lava flows and caves with potential for geological and cave exploration, and hiking. Mzima Springs & underwater hippo watching, Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, Lake Jipe, Mt. Kilimanjaro, elephant, rhino, diverse bird and plant species and the rare wild dogs. Dinner and overnight at the Kilanguni Serena Lodge (or similar).
Day 10 - 13: Tsavo West - Mombasa
After breakfast and early morning game drive, make your way to the Kenyan Coast , to the beautiful and endearing beaches.
Enjoy beach Volleyball, pool games and tug-of-war competitions, Scuba diving, Big game fishing, Windsurfing, sailing and snorkelling. Also, glass-bottom boat rides over the magical local reefs, Supervised children's activities at our famous Adventurers' Club, Visits to Bamburi Nature trail, Mamba Crocodile Farm, and other attractions, Historical tours of Mombasa's old town and harbour, 18-hole golf course at the nearby Nyali Golf & Country Club, and Romantic dhow safaris with picnic lunches or sundowners.
Visit some of the coasts famous sites, such as the Gedi ruins, Vasco d agama pillar and the Fort Jesus . Overnight at the Sarova Whitesands beach reort or similar. HB
Day 14: Depart Mombasa - Nairobi
After Breakfast transferred to the airport to connect your Flight to Nairobi (JKIA) and later connect you homebound flight or other onward arrangements.
